"Candelaria" Lagoon is
a surprising destination from the beginning to de
the end. It is notice worth the way that human intervention
might have changed the Ecosystem forever. Fortunately
this place is now a protected area as well as the
millenary "Alerce" forests. However we can
see the traces of former timbering. To start this
trail we will departure from Río Puelo, towards
"Yates" Volcano. This part of the road goes
through the properties of the inhabitants of this
place. When we arrive to Candelaria, its bluish green
waters will offer us an impressive landscape enhanced
by the beautiful "totora" fields which are
the habitat of oaters, "coipos" and ducks.
"Candelaria" lagoon receives
the streams of several rivulets and also "La
División" River. In this place we can
swim and enjoy a delicious snack.
